
Do you need to have a sublimation printer to use a heat press with t-shirts?
I want to buy a heat press and printer mainly for personal use but some for local town etc . i’ve been looking on the Internet but the information seems directed at people who know what it all is.
I just wandered do you need to have a sublimation printer to be able to print on t-shirts using a heat press?

From what research I have done, I know that you do not have to have a sublimation printer to print on transfer sheets.

Here is some information I found and hopefully from these sites, you can find more. When you get your business up and running, I want a free t-shirt.
If you are just starting, go with the Epson CX7400. It is a print/copy/scan machine, that uses 4 individual ink cartridges, that are pigment ink (so you get the longevity and water-resistance of sublimation). Once you get up and running (making money), go for the expensive stuff.
