DO YOU GET MAD?when people tell you to grow up and act your age?
im 42 and i have loved rock music,since i was 13,i still wear my rock t-shirts,go to see bands,wear doc martens,drink brown ale,all with pride,yet some people have the cheek to advise me to grow up and dress proper,what do you think,and by the way im married with 4 kids,and 1 grandson.
by the way my wife is cool with it too,she loves the things that i love.
lol alleycat,alas my ‘mullet’ is no longer around im afraid,short cropped hair these days,it used to be long,in the olden days as my kids would say,lol.
raziel,my kids and friends think im ok,they love my music collection,lol,rock and metal.
Don’t even think about growing up and acting your age!
I’m 46. Still laugh at the same things i did as a child. Still jump in puddles and get covered in mud. Still dress as i want to. Still the person i am inside and no one is going to change that.
Sod them all. The younger your attitude, the longer you’ll live.
May i ask how your kids and grandchild see you? I have 5 children and just about every one of their friends over the years have said how they wished their own parents were like me. I can get right in there and see life from their perspective.
Simply because i never grew up and i hope i never do.
