Help! My live-in boyfriend isn’t speaking to me over Valentine’s Day?
Last night, I wanted to set the mood for Valentine’s Day, so I told my live-in boyfriend I wanted romance. Sex is very infrequent (about once a month) and quick as he doesn’t particularly like being intimate and has issues getting aroused. He became angry and thought that the dinner we were planning should be considered romantic. This morning I gave him a gift bag and card. Again, he signed angrily and rolled his eyes because he thought we had an understanding of no gifts (I bought us both lingerie and silky underwear to get in the mood). I was so upset I walked away crying. Knowing I was so upset, he just left the house to work and didn’t return until after 8pm. No gift, no dinner, and now he’s not speaking to me. I’m so confused right now. I should be the angry one and I have no idea what he’s pissed off at.
If he is always like this, it might be time for you to move on and find happiness and a man that will love and appreciate you. It appears he isn’t committed to you or this relationship.
Go out and visit friends or family and don’ t invite him, just go out and maybe then he might realise he may be losing you he might need a wake up call?? just a thought?
