How to combine two wedding showers into one?
I am the maid of honor for my best friend’s wedding. She is in the Air Force, and wants me to plan a lingerie shower and a traditional wedding shower into one big shower. Guest would be able to bring whatever gifts they wanted. I need ideas on how to create the invitation, decorate the venue, and other things. Can anyone help?
If it’s at all possible, have the normal shower in the afternoon for closer family that might not be interested in attending the lingerie shower, or I suppose if her family isn’t overly conservative, just have it as one big shower, and explain on the invitations that this is both a wedding shower and lingerie shower, then list all the places they’re registered at, and leave it up to the guests what they want to bring. I would think a lingerie shower would be more fun like a bachelorette party, so it would be better to host at night with cocktails and snacks.
