We have 6-8 inches of snow, it’s 7 degrees outside, why does my mom have the temp on 60 degree inside?
IThat could mean it’s just shut off comepletly. Or it could be on 60 degrees. But in the 30 minutes I’ve been awake I’ve not heard the heat kick on once. And the weather channel says it’s 7 degrees outside.
have thermo tops and bottoms, probably tmi lol, I have on a hockey jersey, and flannel pajama pants, and I’m wearing a big leather coat that has sleeping bag type stuffing inside of it. And I’m finally a little warmer. But my hands are still cold as I type. Do you think the pipes could bust? I’ve been awake for 30 minutes and I haven’t heard the heater turn on once. I’m wondering if the heat was actually turned off last night?
That space heater takes up more electricity than you would think.
No no don’t get me wrong I know the heating bill is high. And I am grateful for a roof and have no complaints.
Have you seen your mother’s last electric bill ? That may be why.. I just received mine and I thought I was going to fall backwards. But I do not lower it when the grand kid is here but will a bit when he goes back to parent.
Maybe you should ask her.. Or start paying the power bill ? If you wearing a coat and you are sure she is NOT in a financial bind ask her.
It is probably just as hard on her.And by the way who pays for internet connection ? ^^
