Batman Fans I need your help!!!?
So my boyfriend and my 6th month is comming up and I want to get him something really REALLY special. I LOVES the Dark Knight and Heath Ledger as the Joker, and he has a bunch of posters and T-shirts and a pre-ordered DVD so none of those will work. Any ideas about what I could get him? (Money’s not TOO much of an object)
To answer any doubt that some people might have he really is a HUGE batman fan. He had ALL the comic books, and old cartoon DVD’s, and loves Heath Ledger simply because he followed the comicbook portrayal very VERY closely.
IS he truly a BAtman fan or just a fan of Heath Ledger’s intense portryal of The Joker?
Check your phone book for a local comic book store, DONT GO TO A CRAPPY TOY STORE, and talk to the owner/ operator of the comic book store about whatever new items may be coming up for the movie.
There are usually statues, maquettes, busts, re-releases of certain epic books to the Batman storylines and various other things that are going to be a lot nicer than crummy toy store offerings.
Also, if he collects comic books, look through his collection, see if he has Batman: The Killing Joke which is one of the epic Batman/ Joker story’s ever told, as well as Arkham Asylum, but the artwork in Arkham Asylum is hard to digest for the non-hardcore Batman fan.
