What are you planning on doing for christmas?
For christmas Eve Im having a party at my house for all my family to come (that can make it) we eat dinner and than open our gifts from each other we do kareoke when everyone gets here and drink some wine and talk till our toungs want to fall off. After presents and desert and maybe a few more kareoke songs everyone leaves but me my mom dad and brother. we than open a gift which is always pajamas (so we look nice the next day) go to bed wake up try not to look at the tree with all its galore in the living room but go to the diningroom where our stocking are we open them talk and drink eggnog/coffee, after we open stocking when everyone is done we all go into the living room and open gifts we take turns opening them so that we can see everyones surprise and everyones gift after we open all our goodies we watch a move or start making breakfast (whatever we are in the mood for that involves a griddle) and play with our gifts
It sounds like your Christmas eve party w/ your whole family is a lot of fun! I love the pajama idea, when me and my siblings were a bit younger we used to get to open one gift on Christmas eve, that would’ve been perfect!
This year on Christmas eve, my neice and nephew are coming over and they’re opening their gifts, then I have to go to my boyfriend’s parents house and open gifts, My mom and dad always do some extra shopping on CHristmas eve so we’re usually up pretty late wrapping presents, then we wake up early on Christmas and open our gifts, like you we all do it one by one so everyone can see, then we get started on fixing our Christmas dinner and usually everyone helps out by making a dish or two, or cutting the ham, or setting the table.
