When is the best time to give your kids Christmas pajamas?
I have three children, and each one of them gets a special pair of Christmas PJs during the holidays. For the past few years, I have been giving them to the kids on Christmas eve as an early christmas gift. This way they can sleep in them and be photographed in them on christmas morning. I still kind of feel like they are a waist, though. Because they day after they receive them, the holidays are over. They still wear them occasionally throughout the winter, but the christmas cuteness doesn’t really hold.
So I have a new idea this year, but I’m not sure if it is a good idea or not. I was thinking about giving the PJs as a gift on thanksgiving, since that is the official beginning of the holiday season. This way they will get more use out of them.
Does anyone else do this or have any advice?
Or you could give them to them on December 1 and also start a countdown to Christmas calendar thing on that day. (The ones where you get a piece of candy each day). You could say the pajamas are a present to start the calendar.
