Is it safe to go tanning at a salon after having a heat rash/sun poisoning?
3 days ago i went to a tanning salon in only my birthday suit. After i came out, i began to itch like crazy those certain places on my body that dont normally get any sun (upper thighs and butt). A couple hours later i noticed it had turned into a pretty bad rash.I really want to get a good base tan before I go on a cruise next week, so would it be safe to go to a tanning salon after having this rash? My plan would be to cover up the areas that have the rash with layers and layers of clothing (most likely 2 pairs of boxers, pair of shorts, and a towel wrapped around) and let the rest of my body tan.
All of the “tanning salons are bad for you no matter what” arguments aside, does this sound safe?
If you wanted a good base tan, you should have started three or four weeks ago. You do this slowly. Yes, you can cover up and put on skin block , too.
